Tom Selleck was observed working out in Thousand Oaks after the Blue Bloods season ended in June, dressed in tough all-black gym clothes. He went around the streets wearing Brooks running shoes and comfy high-waisted shorts.
Tom’s unusual facial hair, which he had been grooming for several months, looked wonderful with his salt-and-pepper hairstyle. Following the shocking cancellation of Blue Bloods, Tom appears to be enjoying a vacation with his wife, Jillie Mack, on their 65-acre ranch in California.
Tom, who plays NYPD police commissioner Frank Reagan on the television series Blue Bloods, has openly expressed his displeasure with the show’s conclusion and expressed hope that CBS’s decision-makers may reconsider. Since there will be no more episodes of the drama series when season 14 closes in October, the cancelation appears to be final.
Tom stated that, despite having other sources of income in addition to earning up to $200,000 per episode, the show’s cancellation may cause him to fall behind on his obligations. On CBS Sunday Mornings, he told journalist Tracy Smith that his current pay may not be sufficient to finance his long-term retirement on the ranch.
Tom sees a silver lining in losing his Blue Bloods gig, noting that it will allow him to slow down and spend more time with Jillie. According to a source, the elderly couple maintains a strong relationship and enjoys spending quality time together.
Tom hopes that his daughter Hannah will marry soon because he is not yet a grandfather. Hannah is an accomplished equestrian, and Tom urges her to pursue a career in horse jumping. Tom recently discontinued his regular trips back and forth from the East Coast to film Blue Bloods in order to experiment with a new, less demanding schedule.
