The “Just a Girl” singer headlined the weekend concert at Harriet Island Regional Park in St. Paul, Minnesota, which also featured Alanis Morissette, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
During Stefani’s act, concertgoers went wild when Shelton, 48, and his wife walked on stage to perform their duet “Purple Irises.”
Sharing moments live from the event, one Facebook user writes, “I’m a huge Gwen fan so I insisted we get up pretty close so we could see well and jump up and down with the crowd. When ‘Sunday Morning’ started playing, the tears streamed down my face. It’s my favorite No Doubt song and I had no idea she’d sing it!!!”
The user continues, “Fantastic that Blake Shelton made a surprise appearance. Gwen just radiates joy and has tons of energy. The girl just killed it.”
