9 Signs Your Partner Sees You as Just a Fling & Isn’t Interested In A Relationship

9 Signs Your Partner Sees You as Just a Fling & Isn’t Interested In A Relationship

1. You are never asked to meet his friends and family

If you’ve been dating someone for a while and haven’t met anyone important to them yet, it’s probably a sign that you’re not in a relationship. If things get serious and your partner is ready to make you a priority in his life, he will start introducing you to people who are close to him.

2. Avoiding eye contact.

Making eye contact is a primitive way to connect with each other and when we avoid this gesture, it indicates a lack of openness in the relationship. If the person you’re dating seems to look away when you talk to them, it’s a good sign that they may not be very serious about you.

3. You’re not Facebook friends

If your partner refuses to be your friend or accept a friend request on Facebook, it could mean that he or she is trying to hide you or doesn’t want you to get too close, where you might find pictures with other dates and “flirting”, for example.

4. He or she is always late

If your partner is always late, it means that he/she does not care about your time. If your partner arrived on time, it shows that meeting you was a priority for him/her.

5. It’s purely physical

If the person you are dating is only interested in a physical connection with you, to the exclusion of anything else, it probably means that he/she is not trying to get to know you very deeply. Her intentions for the relationship will remain in the realm of the casual and superficial.

6. There are gaps in communication

A person who likes you and wants to move forward with you in a relationship will elicit or respond to messages and calls daily. If you don’t hear from your partner for several days and don’t know where you stand, it may mean you are not in a long-term relationship.

7. Plans are always last minute

If the person you’re dating never wants to make plans with you, but only wants to text, talk, message or see you at random, spontaneous times, it’s probably a sign that in their mind, you’re in the fling category.

If someone only wants to meet when it’s convenient for them and it’s usually at your house or theirs, that’s a sure sign that things aren’t serious.

8. He or she is not trying to get to know you

If he or she is not genuinely interested in how things are going in your life, this can be a major red flag. It may be the case: He or she rarely asks you about your past, your childhood, your family or your goals. In fact, you never have any really in-depth discussions.

9. You are always the one who initiates meetings

If you’re always the one initiating contact, making suggestions for things to do together or places to visit, basically trying to keep the magic alive, they probably don’t miss you when you’re not together. This is also another sign that he is not interested in developing a deeper relationship.
