Computers tend to accumulate dust, smudges, and dirt.
Digital screens appear to be magnets for dust, fuzz, and fingerprints. But, unlike household appliances, you can’t simply spray them with an all-purpose cleanser and scrub them clean.
Some computer makers advocate special wipes or items to clean your screens; always double-check which ones work with your specific computer.
If you wish to undertake a thorough cleaning, certain desktop computers with wired keyboards include keys that can be gently pulled off one at a time with a letter opener.

How to Clean a Computer Screen and Keyboard
Step 1: Wipe the screen with a dry microfiber cloth
Turn off the computer to better observe dust and debris on the screen. To remove dust from the screen, use a dry microfiber cloth. Don’t neglect the screen’s bottom corners, where dust tends to accumulate.
Step 2: Wipe the screen with a damp microfiber cloth
Dampen a clean microfiber cloth with water. Make sure the fabric is damp, but not soaking wet. Then wipe the screen from top to bottom. Address any persistent filthy spots and repeat as necessary. Allow the screen to air dry before using.
Step 3: Shake out keyboard crumbs
If your keyboard is wireless, turn it off; if it is wired, unplug it. Hold the keyboard above a garbage can, tip it over, and shake away any crumbs and debris.
Step 4: Use compressed air
Use compressed air to remove any dust that has become trapped inside the keyboard.
Step 5: Cleaning keys
If the keys are unclean, clean them with a 50/50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water. Dip a cotton swab in the solution until it is damp but not dripping wet. Then rub the swab across the keys.
