Barron Trump was encountered shaking hands with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris shortly after his father, Donald Trump, was announced to become the 47th President of the United States.
The brief interaction, which created moments after the oath of office, attracted praise for Barron’s polite demeanor.
The inauguration was organized on January 20 at the Capitol Building, where the 78-year-old Trump took the oath administered by Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts.
With his right hand raised, President Trump was sworn in while his wife, Melania, held two significant Bibles: one given to him by his mother and the other, the famed Lincoln Bible historically used by Abraham Lincoln in 1861.
All members of the Trump family, including sons Eric and Donald Trump Jr. and daughter Ivanka Trump attended the event in the Capitol Rotunda.
It was the youngest, Barron, who drew attention to his appearance.
He was seen politely offering a handshake to then-outgoing President Joe Biden and former Vice President Kamala Harris after his father was sworn in.
