Prince William speaks publicly about brother Harry with rare comment for first time in years

The brothers haven’t been known to speak since the ғᴜɴᴇʀᴀʟ of their grandfather, Prince Philip

A new ITV program will feature Prince William discussing his brother, Prince Harry.

While no one knows what has happened behind closed doors, the brothers haven’t spoken publicly since 2021.

Tensions escalated in the family when Harry and Meghan opted to leave their Royal duties behind and relocate to America, but it appears that many bombshell interviews, as well as Harry’s book Spare, were the causes for their relationship apart.

However, Prince William is poised to break his silence on his brother in a new documentary he has produced for ITV.

And royal fans won’t have to wait long to see it, as it’s due to premiere this week.

In the two-part series, Prince William: We Can End Homelessness, William will co-found a company named Homewards.

As the ever-growing issue of homelessness in the UK spins out of control, the goal is to radically modify the scope of the problem by collaborating with charity.

It is well known that the late Princess Diana never let her sons forget their position of affluence, and William addresses this in the documentary.

Referring to a time with his brother during their childhood, he said: “My mother took me to The Passage; she took Harry and I both there.

“I must have been 11 at the time, maybe 10.

“I had never been to anything like that before, and I was a bit anxious about what to expect.”

The Passage is London’s largest homeless organization, and since 1980, they have assisted over 200 people per day in accessing necessary resources.

During the documentary, William reacted to criticism that, given his privileged status, he was not qualified to address homelessness.

Asked how he feels about criticism of Homewards, he said: “I think if I answered every critic, I’d be here all day. But you know, criticism drives you forward.

“I think it’s right to question but I think, ultimately, we are pushing forward to deliver change and hope and optimism into a world that frankly has had very little of it for a long time.

“I hope I can bring something that’s not been done before.”

The Prince also talks about how he addressed the topic with his three young children, George, Charlotte, and Louis.

Prince William: We Can End Homelessness will air on ITV on October 30th and 31st.
