They increase the risk of cancer and heart disease and can also cause many other complications. Avoid them strictly on an empty stomach.

6. Coffee or tea

Drinking coffee on an empty stomach can increase hydrochloric acid levels and can lead to constipation and vomiting. They also slow down the digestion process. Try drinking a glass of water on an empty stomach, give it time to settle down and then take some caffeine.
